I Want to Ride my Bicycle…

Well, I asked Keegan Wenkman if he would draw me a poster with the lyrics of my favorite Cloud Cult song, Transistor Radio. It took him a while to get around to this illustration due to the fact he wanted to find a real transistor radio … he had never seen one!  My first transistor radio was a prized possession and i vividly recall the first time hearing Bob Dylan’s song, Blowing in the Wind on Minneapolis radio station WDGY. I would write down all the lyrics instead of doing my math homework. My parents had a cool stereo in our living room and they would play Jazz and Big Band and Gospel Music. Always a hub-bub of sounds in our home on Lantana Lane in Edina…..i have 5 brothers and 4 sisters !!  Oh! Golly, i just remembered that my older brother would try to sit on crawling me, holding his favorite big radio. Fast forward to my love of the Cloud Cult Song : “So i went through canyons, caves and catacombs, i sailed on bicycle boats. i slept in chapels and brothels, i met the nicest folks. I said, i’m ready for what I’m about to see, Yup”    “Where I’ve been, where I am, it’s the show”.  See you on the Streets!
