Once upon a time, I typically gave people honeycrisp apples or clementines & even carrots, maybe I thought everyone was like a rabbit …. But happily I discovered the Wow Factor of all the delectable treats @ Sugar Sugar. At first I worried that not everyone liked candy, so, just once, I asked If they were okay with sugar and here was the response : “I’m like a hummingbird”!.
I love all the colorful gummis and delicious lavendar chocolates. I remember the special candies from my childhood. There were pop rocks that I snuck in to 3rd grade class and popped in to my mouth not knowing they foamed. Oops! Also, I loved bit o’ honey and salted nut rolls. For Halloween, my Dad would drive us 7 kids in our old station wagon to the neighborhoods known to give out full sized candy bars & we’d come home with our pillow cases plumb full to the brim.
Nowadays, I bring vintage dishes from Succotash to Tracy @ Sugar Sugar. She works her magic so I have sweet House Warming gifts for our Buyers. Let’s go there now for those new salted caramels!
